About Chin Community (Germany) eV Activities Since the foundation of the association, the board members have tried to implement their goals without the influence of different political directions and beliefs. The board meeting takes place quarterly. Today over 200 Chin refugees live in the Federal Republic of Germany (nationwide). The association has been registered at the Augsburg District Court under association number: 2793 since 2005. The responsible tax office is the city of Augsburg. Since 2002, the association has celebrated Chin National Day regularly until today, under the direction of a festival committee. At every Chin National Day celebration, various German organizations, associations and Burmese associations were invited to present Chin tradition and establish social contacts with other peoples. A major event of which was the 60th Chin National Day which was celebrated in 2008 under the direction of the 60th Chin National Day Festival Committee in Frankfurt am Main. For our Chin National Day 2008 we managed to invite the famous singer Thuam Kham and the singers Sung Tin Par from Burma and Dalduhi from Mizoram. For our 60th Chin National Day in Frankfurt am Main we received € 800.00 from the city of Frankfurt for the event room and € 2000.00 from the Euro-Burma office in Brussels. The financial cost of the celebration was over € 10,000.00! That means: the Chin living in Germany have financed 80% of the total costs for the 60th Chin National Day themselves. For this celebration, Chin from different European countries such as Norway, Denmark, UK or Switzerland joined us and celebrated. On our 60th National Day, we succeeded for the first time in bringing Chins from all over Europe together. We experienced such an event for the first time in Chin's history, where we (Chins) could celebrate our Chin National Day celebration together with Chins who live in different countries. In addition, the association has organized the summer festival every summer and the general assembly since 2003. Since 2006 we have participated in the FOLLOWING sports at the summer festival: soccer, table tennis and badminton. During the summer party there is also an exchange of opinions and experiences among us and with various invited guests. In order to build a good relationship with other ethnic groups from Burma who live in Germany, we organize the soccer tournament called `` CCG eV Open Football Championship Cup ''. In 2010 the association managed to organize a meeting for the Chins in Europe. The association organizes the ´´1st. Europe Chin football tournament ´´ with. All Chins in Europe liked this idea and now takes place every two years in different European countries. All financial needs were also financed by Selbs. We have also organized special events as follows. In 2005 and 2007 we took part in the cultural week in Augsburg on September 24, 2005 and September 22, 2007. The association provided financial support for famine, fire victims in Chin State Union Burma and orphans in Rangoon. In addition, the association assisted Chin in need in Germany with advice and action. The association also supports Stanly Vantha's family in Switzerland financially. In 2006, CCG eV, as host, at the request of Chin Forum, successfully organized an event entitled "The Constitution for Chinland", which took place for the fourth time in order to give the public the opportunity to comment and discuss the draft constitution We received financial support in the amount of 5000 euros from the Euro-Burma office, so that CCG eV was able to carry out this event.In 2007, CCG eV held a seminar (Europe) for ethnic groups together with other ethnic minorities from Burma Organized affairs. Various ethnic minorities from Norway, Great Britain, Holland, Sweden etc. participated. The event was also financed by the Euro-Burma office. Chin Community (Germany) eV has gained a lot of experience in the field of events and festivals since its foundation As we have already described above, the association has never heard of various organizations in Germany, Federal and state governments applied for financial aid for its activities. Since the founding year 2001, the CCG eV has always tried to realize its purposes and goals. The Chin refugees who lived in Germany always received support in every way in times of need. The CCG email group enables us to coordinate and exchange information quickly. The association succeeds in all of this because each and every one of us in Germany has contributed to it. Therefore we would like to express our thanks to all of you on behalf of the association. We appreciate that you stood by us with action and advice at every opportunity. We hope that the future board of the association, the association members as well as the Chin refugees residing in Germany will continue the activities of the association in the future. Donation appeal
In conflict between Arakan Army (AA) and Burmese Army, many Chins in Rakhine State and Chin State have fled into refugee situations. We collect donation for chins refugees in Rakhine State and Chin State in Union Myanmar.
